Rulz Membership: Organisation & Membership System for RedM
Rulz Membership lets a RedM roleplay server run any number of in-game organisations, such as gangs, ranger groups, clubs and businesses. Each one has its own ranks, paid memberships, treasury, storage and shops, all managed inside the game through a clean, Western-style interface.
Key features
Organisations & ranks
- Admins create an organisation with one command. It appears live, with no restart.
- Four ranks: Boss, Underboss, Helper, Employee. Each rank has clear permissions, and server admins can override any of them.
- Size limits per organisation (how many stores, kiosks and storage vaults it can have), picked from templates.
Memberships
- Each organisation sets its own paid tiers (e.g. Recruit, Veteran, Elite) with a price, a duration (or lifetime) and benefits.
- Members carry a physical membership card that staff can check, and active members get shop discounts.
- Players join and renew at self-service kiosks, with no staff needed.
Boss menu
- Opens only at the organisation's headquarters in the game world.
- Manage members, staff, tiers, treasury deposits and withdrawals, settings, stores and storage.
Organisation shops
- Stores sell items and weapons, with prices, categories and discounts per membership tier.
- Stock is physical: staff restock from their own inventory, and senior ranks can take stock back. Who can add or take back is set per rank.
Shared storage
- Storage vaults hold items and weapons, in one or more locations.
- Access is limited by rank, and the player needs the organisation's active job.
Accountability
- Every important action goes to the in-game organisation log and to Discord: new members, renewals, treasury movements, purchases, and stock added or taken back (who did it, which item, how many, and stock left).
- A government audit view shows all organisations' money and member counts.
Why it matters
- Less admin work: organisations run themselves day to day.
- A stronger economy: a real player economy with physical stock, paid memberships and organisation treasuries.
- Trust: the server enforces the rules, and every action is logged.
Technical summary
- Built for RedM on the VORP framework (vorp_core, vorp_inventory) with a MySQL database (oxmysql).
- Database tables are created automatically, and most setup is done with in-game commands.
- Other scripts on the server can check a player's membership.
